Plant Nutrition Canada Chief Scientist Tom Bruulsema discussed the potential impact on water of the fertilizer industry’s initiatives in 4R Nutrient Stewardship. The industry supports more than 1875 Certified Crop Advisers and 180 4R specialists across Canada. The rapidly growing 4R Certification program for agri-retailers, initiated in 2018, already impacts more than 11% of Canada’s farmland in the Lake Erie watershed.
